Tim Steindl commercial force behind Timton
Tim Steindl (1995) grew up in a textile-oriented family and became familiar with the industry from an early age. Nevertheless, he consciously chose his own path: marketing, communication and ultimately sales. At the age of 17, he started working as a floor manager in retail before moving into the energy and telecommunications sectors.
At Ziggo — at the time the largest telecom provider in the Netherlands — Tim advanced to Sales Manager for the southern and central regions of the country. He later founded his own sales organization, where he built and managed teams focused on telecommunications, internet, energy and sustainability solutions for both consumers and businesses.
Alongside his commercial career, Tim remained closely involved in his family’s textile businesses, particularly in customer acquisition and relationship management.
Together with his grandfather Ton, he founded Timton with a clear mission: to provide companies in the industrial printing market with a complete solution — inks, printers and paper in one integrated package. His commercial insight and entrepreneurial energy form the perfect complement to Ton’s technical expertise.
Ton Steijn - strategy / partnerships
With more than six decades of experience in paper and printing technology, textiles, interior decoration and packaging, Ton (1944) built a strong international network across Europe, North America and Asia. His career includes the development of ink programs, the establishment of supply chains and supporting manufacturers in their expansion into new markets.
Ton’s strength lies in strategy, positioning and international cooperation — connecting suppliers, distributors and manufacturers in a rapidly evolving industry. He introduced several new technologies to Europe and is the inventor of the laser engraving machine for rotary screen-printing cylinders.
Within Timton, Ton focuses on partnerships that provide scalability and competitive advantages for customers in fashion, home decoration and packaging. His experience forms a solid foundation for Timton’s international ambitions.
